About Vaeg: why we do what we do
Firstly, our legal name is iPanp limited, which stands for Investing in the People and Planet. We are inventing natural environments for organised, creative people.
If you change the environment, you change the people. Richard Buckminster Fuller
Vaeg’s revolutionary products are changing the way we live. I am David Crout, the managing director and creator of these minimalist designs that fit naturally into a stress-free lifestyle. I find it crazy that we live in a time when using PVC stickers that look like timber and attaching them to high-density cardboard and calling these products by their natural tree names—Oak, Rimu, Tawa etc. I wouldn’t even use these in my wood burner as they are not wood. The change starts now!

The game changer
While I was designing a tiny home for ipanp, I created Vaeg.
My goal was to create a small revolutionary room where productive, creative people could enjoy their craft, work on whatever they liked to do. Using my practical background in joinery, design and my love of sustainable products. I refined my designs over and over until the Vaeg joinery system was born.

Inspired by nature itself
In this age of technology, it is easy to forget that nature is our true source of inspiration. A tree’s branches are functional art. They are perfectly imperfect and serve their own function, but also create unmatched beauty. Our designs are perfectly imperfect as nature intended. We do not focus on perfection as much as we focus on developing new methods that are functional and beautiful.
Our design foundation
Natural sophisticated minimalism is about a quality environment for you.
Væg system helps you set up your home with the perfect combination of quality, style, and function that gets rid of distractions.
Minimalism is all about less. We are starting a new trend called sophisticated minimalism — it’s about adding quality to your life. By removing the heavy and overwhelming stuff in your life and adding our vaeg system, you’re left with a simple and elegant environment that’s easier to live in.
Perfectly imperfect function
I am a designer who likes to push the boundaries of conventional manufacturing methods. I use Scandinavian, Danish and Japanese natural functional styles in my computer-animated designs. Which are meant for people with refined tastes looking to make their homes more creative without sacrificing function.
The aesthetics of nature are blended with modern machines to create furniture that is both beautiful and functional.
